New Updated 2024 Style

Hey everyone!

As promised earlier this year (or was it late last year?) the forum now has a brand new theme.

This new style is very close to the default XenForo style template. That way, it'll be easier to keep it up-to-date and optimized. It'll also be easier to ensure total compatibility with XenForo updates and add-ons.

The big new feature it brings us is the ability to switch between light and dark, as shown below. To do that, scroll down at the bottom-left of the page, and you'll see a little logo.

Dark and Light will switch you to the according style variant. System, will make it so that the site will adapt to your device's color scheme, whether it's dark or light.

I hope you'll like it. Let us know if you encounter anything that looks buggy or out of place.

UPDATE: The aforementioned ability to switch between and light and a dark variant of the style has been removed, to avoid confusion. The site tends to default to the light style, and it's not what we want. So 100% dark it is. :paranormalis:

Looking Great, Dude!

I personally like the background image,
seems to give the site some real flare!

What is the image?

If I were to guess.....It would be "Titor's Lair"
 
Here it is, in its full glory.

It's an AI image I made last summer. I don't remember exactly what I was aiming for. It was most likely some secret underground lair. A mix of old and new, high contrasts, lots of hardware and displays everywhere, walls of servers.

I've been using it here and there, like on Twitch.

For some reason, Dark isn't an option for me --- just System and Light.

Sorry to hear that. If it can be of any help, here's the image's URL:

Backgrounds such as this one are increasingly popular and give websites flavor, without much load. Take ATS, for instance, they've had such backgrounds for a decade now. Theirs are less subtle than ours though.

I like our current background, but I'm not against the idea of removing it if too many of us dislike it.
