Re: Ouija Boards How someone could contradict themselves so while playing down the ultimate contradictory texts of history puzzles me. The "Truth" is the same in every single language. Love your brother. Give to those who have need. Live in peace when there is good, never fail to war against evil. These basic tenets appear absolutely drilled home in every single major religious text. Most people, instead of viewing these books as what they are, tools for people to use to improve themselves by helping them to reflect on the nature of their spirituality and religion, want to see corruption, politics, blood and mass brainwashing, like we see in today's world =( The Bible, the Quran, the Talmud, the Vedas, etc, all wonderful, full of beauty, truth, and love. The misuse of the teachings and ideas present in these books have caused crimes untold throughout history. In this way, the holy texts are just as dangerous as a Quija board. You will never be killed by a Bible as you're reading it, but the people listening to you read are quite capable of doing the killing for it. What was I on about? Oh yes, contradiction... Higher beings have been attempting to share the truth with man since man was created, they've done this in many ways, they've used great men (Jesus of Nazareth, Siddartha (Buddah), Lao Tzu, etc), they've used books, they've used examples and trials and signs in the sky, but nothing has brought about any sort of lasting peace in the world, except for iron-fisted domination. To ignore the first truths to seek something "higher" is just arrogance =( I think... But then, i'm very badly burned from a pressure washer right now.
