Ouija boards 2008

I'm wondering what actually happened here. If he said that it was that scary, then I believe him.

Sam, did you ever have chance to give a Ouija board a try?

Stupidly, my best friend and I gave it a try when I was 18-years-old, but only for a few minutes. We both got too scared, so we stopped and I tossed it in the trash. Thank goodness, as I was very psychically gifted and it could easily have opened up a portal that allowed dark entities in. I didn't realize the dangers back then. I was totally uninformed and not aware of my own gifts.

I have always been curious about Art Bell's experience. I wish he would tell, but it just won't happen. It spooks him to think about it.

That's how I was after watching "The Exorcist". I could never even hear about it after I saw it...and I sorely regretted watching it. I never watch any kind of bad, evil, or horror movies since then.

I think a whole lot of folks just realize afterwards how Ouija Boards may be dangerous.

Would it make any difference if you were to play with serious people and that you know they won't fool around or do anything stupid?

That was the case in this situation. My boyfriend had been murdered, and I kept feeling his presence around me. So I bought the Ouija Board to try and communicate with him. My best friend and I sat down at the board. We were both very serious about it. But shortly after beginning, I got a very bad feeling and we stopped. I was very intuitive, and whenever I got a feeling of danger, I listened.

As it turned out, I didn't need the board to communicate with my boyfriend. He made his presence known to me on many occassions, and many times, even when there were witnesses.

I have used the Ouija board maybe two times in the late 60s early 70s when it was one of the crazy things to do back then. I really do not recommend Ouija boards it opens the psychic doors to the negative information and spirits to play with you, in your mind. One time out of the two times a male came through the Ouija board. I don't remember his name but he said he was killed riding a motorcycle and hit a frozen sugar beets in the roadway. He also stated he was riding a Ford motorcycle. I looked up and the Ouija board and I saw the ghost and commented to him you are kind of fat be riding a motorcycle. Which point he got very upset with me and left.

The other time all that came through is garbage words and letters.

I don't think it makes a difference if there is something that wants to come through it will despite if its people playing around or people being serious about it.

Aren't there some kind of people more prone to be used as a portal by a malevolent spirit than others?

O by all means yes, there are so many different reasons why one person could be used as a portal than others. Most people dont realise there sensitive they chalk up there expierences to Hearing or seeing things and nothing important, if a person like that gets ahold of a board and a malevolent spirit comes through it can be good game, there are alot of other possibilitys also to people being more prone to being used when playing with a board.

I have a question on the Ouija board's construction.
Do the physical characteristics of the board set influence the nature of the portal brought forth?

My impression is the board set opens up the possibility of its being real to the users.
They say, "What if it does work?" They want it to work. They believe it can work.
The beliefs and emotions of the users turn this experience into an acceptable part of their worldview.
The belief that it can work for them and their desire for it to work, opens the portal.
With this in mind, I do feel that a board is a board. It's physical characteristics don't matter.

Still, I would like to views on this from others.
