Default It is Time to Take a Stand
It's time for the "far right" and the "far left" to join together to remove G.W. Bush from office. There was a massive peace/anti-Bush rally in Washington D.C. on September 24. I was there. My wife and I had to ride a bus for 24 hours to get there, stand around and march for twelve hours, then ride the bus home for another 24 hours.
But we were there. We saw the crowds. We marched. And I'm far, far more Libertarian than "Progressive." But the time has come for EVERYBODY to get on the bus. Don't sit back and let the "left" do the protesting. Don't say "I won't march with them because they support socialism, blah blah."
WHO CARES?!?
Get OFF your duff if you care about this country and get involved. There are peace/anti-Bush/anti-fascist organizations springing up all over the country. It's time to coordinate our efforts and focus on one goal-- to oust that tyrant before he starts World War III.
Unity NOW. Squabbling over petty differences later.

The real Americans thank you Keroscene! If I had the funds and it was legal I would have paid you to sign that Petition! But, unfortuantely, I live on a salary, and it would make the petition null and void. However. if I could give you a tax break, I would be buying your vote in a Bush way. But, I can't even get a congressman on the phone, much less intervene on your tax situation. So, sorry, and thank you!

oh you are so right, same thing in Germany right now regarding "Linkspartei" (though they got a good 8%). self-exposers like Schröder or Merkel with their tremendous lust for power and hate for the poor on the mid-left and mid-right wing while our country is going down the damn toilet. but our people are so damn afraid of "Linkspartei" because they think ex-gdr might cme up again. what a laugh! all they want is a bit more social justice.
maybe it's not directly comparable but imo Bush is the same lust-for-power person and such politicians just don't care about real problems of the population or the population's opinion.

Default It is Time to Take a Stand
