We are starting our first experiment tomorrow and we welcome all of you and your friends to join us!
If you would like to participate, this is all you have to do.

Please read instructions carefully. They are relatively simple.

At 7:30 PM each day, you meditate until 7:45 PM. Just attempt to fully clear your mind of anything. Focus on your breathing. Or alternatively, think about the many connections between people.

At 7:45 PM each day, you decide on one of five acceptable symbols to draw (A circle, a square, three (side by side) wavy lines, a plus sign(or cross), or a star) and then draw it.

If you miss the meditation period, make a note of that variable next to the drawing.

If you miss the time for the drawing, just mark N/A for that day.

It is suggested you use an alarm method to make sure you make both daily deadlines.

All the times are Easter Standard or Washington DC time.

Honesty matters, we don't want skewed results.

On December 10th, email all results to Orpheus Institute ([email protected]) or message us here at Facebook..

Directions for emailing:
You can either send photos of the drawings(preferably compressed,) or you can send us a document that lists the results.

If you list the results, this is how it could look:
Circle.
Square, NM.
N/A
Cross, NM(X).
WL.

The N/A means that the drawing time was missed. The drawing time is 7:45-7:46. Timeliness is essential.

The NM means, "No Meditation" and is used to mark that meditation was not done.

NM(X) where X is the number of minutes meditated.

For anonymity sake, you will be given a subject number

In the email make sure that the lists of you and your friends are kept in separate documents and the relationship to the friend is noted, don't give us names!.
(There will be only 7 levels of relationship given, we don't want details for the sake of maintaining anonymity, do not give names!.
These are the five:
1. Lover
2. Life-Long Friend
3. Friend
4. Acquaintance
5. Stranger
6. Enemy
7. Arch Enemy)

Just mark the document by the level of relationship. If it is the document pertaining to yourself, mark it with the word "me."
