Not sure anyone really cares, but as an exercise in futility, I'd like to mention that my father's lung surgery is tomorrow morning.

Surgery went well. They were able to do micro. No broken ribs!
They were able to immediately remove the ventilator. He is breathing on his own.
They are moving him to ICU for a few days. Couldn't be more perfect.

He's in a lot of pain but sitting up and they are draining fluid from his lung. It's hard to see him in pain, but he may be out of ICU
tonight or tomorrow.

Out of ICU! May go home by Tuesday -- less than a week. His years
of exercise paid off. Lungs of steel.
