Sun? Dial going backwards.

Is time manipulation beyond God’s ability or permission? It’s interesting to see various people’s reactions such as believers who read the Bible but overlook various details. In this verse God appears to prove his power to Isaiah by making a “sun” dial go backwards an unspecified duration. I don’t know if it was intended as an astronomical event or a time related event. If it’s time related then what other time related occurrences will he permit or initiate on his own.

“And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.”

Sure. Along the line of possibly perceived religious fiction by some is the Endgame fictional movie where Tony discovers time travel within the story by being inspired by an upside down element within a photo. Considering the mirror I guess it’s an altered way of seeing an event that can inspire other discoveries.



 

Aside from the dial going backwards I guess one point of the Bible verse is that if it did occur and time was manipulated at the request of a “person” then would God provide the information or inspiration to discover time travel, at the request of others who may consider God for the answer?

Hi, son.
I guess if you were born in the 1990’s I was in my 20’s. So the age difference is about right. Maybe in different worldlines we may have different family and friends from choices made in that particular worldline.
