The Urantia Book - a spiritual and philosophical work whose topics include God, natural sciences, religion, history, philosophy and destiny. This book was created in Chicago between 1924 and 1955. Among the many topics covered, the book describes the origin of life and its meaning, describes man's place in the universe, discusses the relationship between God and man, and presents a detailed biography of Jesus of Nazareth. This Work calls the planet Earth "Urantia." The book contains over two thousand pages, consists of a preface and 196 messages, grouped into four parts: (I - Central Universe and superuniverses, II - Local Universe, III - History of Urantia, IV - Life and teachings of Jesus). The Urantia Foundation first published The Urantia Book in 1955 in English. It has been translated into many languages, including Polish (electronic text in 2006, book edition in 2010).
