The connection between Gravity And Time.

Why does Gravity affect time? I hope everyone know General Relativity but i think I couldn't understand it or something but why is Gravity, Space and Time connected?
Something from the Big Bang Theory I presume

Maybe what we perceive as gravity is actually properties of time.

Because it is the equivalent of acceleration.
Acceleration changes your Inertial reference frame.

I would agree if the acceleration was an inertial acceleration. But gravitational and centrifugal accelerations are not accompanied by a weight vector. I'm in favor of gathering experimental data to determine how time behaves relative to the three types of acceleration.
