Great video Prof :)
Did you ever have a "spinning top" when you were a child? ;)
I did, and it always seemed to move in the paths of other children when we were all spinning them..But we know now why that was lol :D

I say Earth is round a hollow but with a curved spacetime around it. That's why we can see over the horizon so easily. The other explanation is refraction but that would be hard to be consistent everywhere with varying atmospheric conditions.

A warped spacetime would explain all the optical anomalies. In fact even astronomers acknowledge this fact. They cannot point their telescopes directly at a star. They can't see it. They have to tilt the telescope bottom a bit and then they can. It's like light is moving sideways after entering the atmosphere a little.

I think a new question to ask in the flat earth community is when reports of people who've been to the hollow earth, do they report to see across the earth and see other landscapes in the sky?
Or when they're within the hollow earth does the horizon look to be convex like our outer earth surface?

I would imagine a possible hollow earth surface would be the bottom surface of the flat earth disc.

Remember the spacestation scene in Interstellar. He could look up into the sky and see a landscape. If you cannot do that within the hollow earth then it would prove this assertion of highly curved spacetime.

The 'ends' of the flat earth disc are the polar holes of the hollow earth. The north polar hole would make sense. However the south polar hole would be a hole highly distorted and stretched out.

If earth truly is flat, then are atoms? A hollow earth idea with an inner sun is highly suggestive of atomic nuclei. I think Walter Russell's concept of a particle is very suggestive of a hollow earth and flat earth at the same time.

This would mean that the earth would be more flat at certain latitudes than others. As the flat disc of expanding energy from the center of the earth is stronger there. That spacetime curvature would cause the lack of refraction in the atmosphere and you could see over longer distances.

Reminds me of Hoagland's 19.5 degree north and south latitudes.
