Late in the evening of November 2, 1957, Pedro Saucedo and Joe Salaz reported to the Levelland police that their truck stalled after seeing a blue flash of light and then a rocket-shaped object approaching. After the object disappeared, the engine restarted. Officer A. J. Fowler thought it was a joke.
An hour later, motorist Jim Wheeler noticed a glowing egg-shaped object blocking his road in eastern Levelland. His car stalled, but restarted after the object disappeared. Later, a married couple and Jose Alvarez also reported similar experiences: their cars stalled when glowing objects appeared.
At midnight, student Newell Wright saw a large egg-shaped object standing in the road. After it took off, the car restarted. Farmer Frank Williams reported that his engine stalled when the blue glow of the object intensified.
By 1:30 a.m., Sheriff Weir Clem and Fire Chief Ray Jones witnessed a red glowing object. Jones experienced the engine and headlights failing. All sightings ceased around 2 a.m., becoming part of one of the most mysterious UFO encounters.
What is your opinion about this incident? What could it have been?
