Movies like this did serve a purpose, they were something to show after 3am, when all the high school kids were long gone, and the fryer in the snack shack was shut down, but there was still someone to make coffee for the few remaining all-nighters, someone to make change for the cigarette machine, and on television they were something to watch when no one was watching.
