Having owned (or been owned by) several cats, I can say with the upmost authority,
A cat gagging and puking is the last thing you want to hear when you're in bed, about to fall asleep
and knowing that you're bare-footed self has to find the light switch from across the room.

There's that 50/50 chance that your feet will find the 'DEPOSIT' before your hand finds the switch.
