Serious question. Does anyone know why humans lost the knack for writing classical music?
Why did it just... stop?

It just shifted towards new ground.

I always likened progressive rock as a type of Classical Shift.....For nerds like me, that is. Lol

I once convinced my own mum that, that was the case by showing her this song.
If you listen...notice that like classical, each player is playing a separate melody to create a whole
much like orchestral maneuvers.
