Have you read the writings of Timothy Leary?
No, I haven't. I presume that the LSD he recommended could enable mental time travel. Nonetheless, I view drugs as harmful, though they may have some benefits. I've never used LSD or other drugs and I won't be doing so.
Instead, I participate in Data Treya Kriya Yoga, Babaji's Kriya Yoga, physical exercises, breathing, meditation, mantras and nutrition. You could call me a "health nut". I actually read the ingredients of food products, before I'll eat them.
Did Timothy Leary live a long, healthy life and set a good example for others? I don't think so. On the other hand, Babaji Nagaraj, over 1,800 years old, in perfect youthful health, resides in Shambhala, in the Etheric Realm, inside the Earth.
Presumably, Babaji resides there with Mataji Annai, Gautama Buddha, Jesus, Mary, Saint Germaine and other highly enlightened beings. I'd much rather follow their example and meet them in Shambhala, when I raise my frequency.
Of course with Kriya Yoga, perfect health and eternal youth is part of the ultimate goal. One would also gain the ability of mental time travel, even physical time travel, by the power of the consciousness alone, no drugs involved.
I can not be so extreme as to say drugs and chemicals are never useful. Some people use Aywuaska, to elevate consciousness. Is that a drug or a herb? And Boganathar, one of Babaji's main Gurus, used Muppa, to eliminate aging.
In using Muppa, containing a mercury compound, which could be deadly, Bogar knew exactly what he was doing. On top a mountain, he gave some to his chief disciple and a pet dog, who seemingly died.
His two remaining disciples, declined to consume any Muppa, so Bogar consumed the rest and seemingly went unconscious. So the two remaining disciples went down the mountain to arrange for burial services.
When the two remaining disciples returned to the mountain top, no one was there. But they did find a note, in Lao Tzu's(Bogar, also known as Boyang) handwriting, saying it worked and they missed their chance at immortality.
