What I didn't get in the first telling of Titor's in his worldline experience with prionic disease, is that his timeline is a differing frequency. So everything electrochemically works slightly off. One can eat meat to a certain extent. But the problem is predominant meat eaters, not sparse ones. There's also the factor that if there's a said nuclear war, as was the case in John's timeline, then in a way this affects the chemotaxis of assembly and character of these groups of chemicals in his timeline.

In our timeline here, what affected us was covid. This is because what covid does, is that it affects both brain and tissues from the original Feb 2020 of the hypermutation phase of covid once it got out of the lab. At this point, not in the Chinese lab at Wuhan is when covid became truly dangerous. *It is thought that hypermutation is the process in human or animal media, that a virus temporarily invests in, while doing its processes, that under climatic stress, a run-away condition can occur, that would be similar to an out-of-control bio-chemical reactor. Such as in a bioweapons research lab of the cold war era, only the vessel to hold this reaction, is in animals, not a stainless steel specialized large vat.

What John's timeline might look like, or be visualized as, is number positions on the face of a large wall close. Say Titor's number position is 5 o'clock, while ours is at eleven. If this is so, then by laws of imposed balances between symmetry and asymmetry, there's also an allotment for dissimilarity. So prionic disease may be a problem in John's timeline, not ours.
