U.F O. crash. What odds do you give it?

I am not a gambling man, but it seems to me that the odds of any alien ship crashing on Earth after millions, if not many billions of miles of travel, would be really small.

Yet more than one crash has been, can I even use the word, recorded.

I would put the odds at about the same as this picture.

It is proven fact that the most dangerous times for any air journey are at take off and at landing. I find it perfectly feasible that a craft could travel light years to get here and then suffer a catastrophic failure on arrival.
It happened with ‘Beagle’. We sent it to Mars, it made the 173 million KM trip only to crash on the planets surface.. (well at least that’s what they tell us).

Is this just a wild attempt to bring up on a new thread, your own manic attitude towards the Christian God?.....Why else would you post a picture that says God Was An Alien, under the thread title, ( U.F.O. Crash. What Odds Do You Give It?) :fp:..

Quite a short distance if you think in universal terms and light years.

I don't think comparing us, rookies at space travel, to a space faring civilization that likely goes faster than light speed, is accurate.

This O.P. is for speculation though so thanks for your view.

I just happened to have that picture around, but if you watch Ancient Aliens, the picture is not that far off the mark.

If you are not peeved with the Christian god, and all the other evil gods we have created, then you might not be thinking of or living by the golden rule.

I was not intending to speak of why I am peeved at our evil gods, but here you are.

Insert gays and women harmed by homophobic and misogynous religions to this quote. You should get an idea of what you should be doing with the homophobic and misogynous mainstream religions if you live by the golden rule.

Please get back to me with your conclusion.

Martin Niemöller
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

It’s all subjective..

But I think mistakes will happen no matter what scientific level you are at..
