Captured this in CT. We were driving thru and I was taking pics of the sky. Then this appeared and was gone again within one pic frame.

The trail from the front and back lead me to believe this is a reflection or glare of something not necessarily a ufo, plus it looks to be super close.

well it's not the sun that's for sure, might be a sun glare reflection off the lens.
However if you're claiming you saw it then it woudn't be.

Have you considered that it could have been a Portal opening up?..
Portals are erroneously portrayed as being found only on the ground..

No. Never gave it a thought. No experience with them I suppose the reason.

The portal rabbit hole - @wanda Any idea where in CT that was taken ? Any GPS coordinates saved by any chance? Could be a flare but if it's close I may go to the area some day if it's nearby.
