There could be life on hot planets, because our solids become their liquids, et cetera... so they could have liquid metal as blood plasma. It would however make it very energy intensive to keep that temperature in space when leaving close orbit around the sun, so we would be unlikely to see them in our world. To them, earth would be like an ice planet almost twice as cold as absolute zero.

How could anyone live on cold earth outside of the perfect temperature range of Venus? It is not even worth looking for life on Earth.
