I actually really liked this one.....
It was a cool kind of different.
I bought their 20th Anniversary box set back in 1988 and found out that Broadsword and the Beast, had enough outtakes to be a double album....the second 'album' was in the box set.
I had that album!
That reminds me of when Van Halen came to town for a concert in the late 1980's. He was doing a radio interview that I was listening to. There was some comment by the DJ about the album costs, and he off-the-wall mentioned that he only made a nickel off of it.
The CD in the stores was something like $25-30 (in late 1980's dollars). This was VH in their prime with guaranteed hits and merchandising. The artists made practically nothing while all the useless bureaucrats in the industry were getting rich.
