Why do people try to use radionics to time travel?

Yes of course, you have the absolute right to believe in anything you want to on Paranormalis....However, some of us on here has been researching the subject of Time-Travel, and the way in which it could have been achieved.....The Philadelphia Experiment in 1943 for example, has drawn massive interest since 1978 when the first research book of that name was released, bringing with it a huge amount of information of the people involved in the Experiment, and also the mechanics and electronics surrounding it....

Unfortunately the very nature of the HDR leaves a lot to be desired....Over the years since 1943, many people have sought to replicate and scale-down the size of the Philadelphia Experiment, with many people wishing to "earn a quick buck" also coming onto the scene....They are peddling "Doctor TimeTravel" devices, which IMHO are as useful for creating Time Travel, than an ash tray is useful, stuck on the front handlebars of a Harley Davidson motorbike!!....There is one particular Lady writer, who sells some of her books on Time-Travel by quoting Stephen Gibbs HDR, as a scaled down version of the Philadelphia Experiment!

The "forward" of the book states, The Philadelphia Experiment in 1943 was about a Battleship that vanished and travelled in time...
The Battleship was, a Destroyer escort ship the, USS Eldridge DE173....So much for the ladies researching skills..

Next we come to the parts that make up an HDR...There are two "potentiometers", which are the same as the volume controls you would find on the old wireless radios...then there are two or three "on/off" switches, a couple of "little lights", an Electrolytic capacitor, which is a device for charging and discharging electricity, a lump of metal that makes up an "electromagnet", which simply means the lump of metal has electricity put through it, and you will find large electromagnets in junk yards, for lifting and dropping big pieces of metal into lorries..

Finally those parts are wired together and put into a pretty little box with knobs and switches fitted onto them....And we are then told that the HDR can safely transport us physically, forwards and backwards through time, for the princely sum of $350!!...The parts for the HDR which would include the pretty little box and switches would cost about $25 to make....By the way, there is a statement written out on the HDR that says, it is not guaranteed to send everybody forwards or backwards in time..

If I were to use a device like that first thing I would worry about is ending up in space and in a different part of the galaxy if not the outside of it. Thankfully it's just a scam :)
