This wouldn't surprise me one bit, but I think they'd be playing their hand too early. The LWO has been slowly pulling this crap for decades. I don't think it's in this election, but it's a high probability they'd do it in the future.

Sure! But NATO has 32 member countries. Strength in numbers. Individually each nation contributes equally. The cost significantly declines for us that way. Russia knows it can't win against the combined forces of NATO.
