On a sidenote I heard a couple of hours ago on the news that twitter saves information they get when you access the page through your phone. Information like adressbooks, telephonenumbers I think etc etc.

Here's the Link CLICK ME to the article. I'm posting it in the News Wire section of the Forum. Thanks

Today I discovered why Twitter (features, design, and format) has deteriorated and is becoming the new Myspace. It's because it's being run by one of the guys who ruined Myspace. It's a trail that leads right back to the slimeball, RUPERT MURDOCH, who is responsible for the destruction of Myspace, which I have always said was deliberate. The people had too much political power on Myspace, and Murdoch's 'agenda' was to destroy it, which he did.

You think Murdoch lost money on Myspace, because he sold it for about $500 million less than he paid for it? Wrong! Google paid News Corp $1 Billion for a Search Deal on Myspace.

In addition, RupertMurdoch/NewsCorp stole Myspace for millions when it was worth billions. Ask Brad Greenspan.

From Wikipedia under "Myspace" and "Brad Greenspan": "Brad Greenspan was the former CEO, founder, and shareholder of Intermix Media the parent company that owned and launched MySpace.com...In October 2006, Brad Greenspan launched a website, called freemyspace.com, and published reports that called for the Securities and Exchange Commission, the United States Department of Justice and the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance to investigate News Corp's acquisition of MySpace as "one of the largest merger and acquisition scandals in U.S. history." The report's main allegation is that News Corp. should have valued MySpace at US $20 billion rather than US $327 million, and had, in effect, defrauded Intermix shareholders through an unfair deal process. The report received a mixed response from financial commentators in the press. A lawsuit led by Greenspan challenging the acquisition was dismissed by a judge." [Ironically, all the news articles about this scandal have mysteriously disappeared, but they used to be online.]

Myspace was the most popular social network on the Internet until Rupert Murduch's CEOs imploded it by removing all the great features and filling it with glitches and problems until everyone hated it and left. Now the same thing is happening to Twitter. I was puzzled by the changes and deterioration of Twitter until today when I discovered the following...

Twitter from Wikipedia: "In August 2010, the company appointed Adam Bain as President of Revenue from News Corp.'s Fox Audience Network. On September 14, 2010, Twitter launched a redesigned site including a new logo."

RUPERT MURDOCH owns News Corp and Fox Audience Network. Murdoch is a Media Mogul, a billionaire obsessed with controlling the media and the Sheeple. He has a Republican agenda...He is the LARGEST contributor to the REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Twitter Hires Adam Bain Away From News Corp. As President Of Revenue

Twitter has hired Adam Bain as head of all revenue for the company, we’ve heard from multiple sources. His title will be President, Revenue and he’ll be reporting to COO Dick Costolo.

Twitter has also hired Brent Hill away from Google to run sales in the midwest region. Hill, along with recent hires Amanda Levy and Dan Coughlin, will report to Bain.

Until very recently, Bain reported to Jon Miller and was President of the Fox Audience Network, the monetization arm for MySpace, IGN and other News Corp. digital properties. Bain took the Audience Network job in 2008 amid a reorganization at Fox and MySpace. Prior to that he was EVP, Product & Technology for Fox Interactive Media.

Bain’s organization has been a bright spot in an otherwise dismal group of digital products at News Corp. The company’s self service ads are generating hundreds of millions of dollars annually, we’ve heard. And until very recently there were plans to spin the entire unit out of News Corp. into a separate company. Silverlake Partners and others bid to fund the new entity, but the deal never happened, say our sources.

Bain walks into Twitter just as the company is preparing to ramp up monetization efforts. Twitter’s made small experiments with advertising to date, and they have paying search deals inked last year. But now they want to ramp revenue significantly. Bain is a proven executive at building advertising and monetization products that leverage data and software to create revenue. It’s a good fit.

Twitter after changes, 2012, Sinking Ship, 50.jpg

For Twitter, it's only a matter of time before it sinks, just like Myspace. (I deleted ALL of my Twitter profiles this week, after the manditory Interface Upgrade, which was really a DOWNGRADE. The Upgrade DISABLED my Search Engines, which made my profiles useless.)

VIDEO: Here's a parody of "It's A Wonderful Life" starring Hugh Laurie as Rupert Murdoch and Stephen Fry as Clarence the Angel, Second Class. (Rupert Murdoch has acquired a much larger media empire since this short skit was made.)

Here's a news commentary from September 2011 about Rupert Murdoch's, 'still happening', Phone-Hacking Scandal...

I finally created a personal account on Twitter, just to notice that only 2 people I know are there and that neither of them are active. LOL

I'm not sure what to do with my account now, except following a few projects and person I'm interested by.
