Could we summon something from the nether world and have it take care of the "thing" and feel confident we could send back what we summoned? Let me see a show of hands before I get out a book of spells

From what we heard around here about dark entities, summoning and Ouija, It seems pretty easy to get something from another world to ours. Getting rid of those things appears to be trickier.
