I've always been curious about this one, but I don't think it's ets, they have no need for such a 3d vessel, it's too primitive for most of the races up there watching and taking part.
So I concluded this is more likely one of our older civilizations from before it's reset, it was well enough made that it didn't lose power and crash like the likely many others so it's just stuck in this orbit now, might even be sending out signals that are from our more advanced times that we haven't even learned to detect yet, could be muon encoded tech too but i've never heard or seen any redacted file talk to that effect. It's a fun mystery though.
