I have never had a positive reaction around pendulums...It's like they have a negative aspect that is just...Felt.
So, I am a bit naive to their use and am absolutely no help for you. srsly.

When I am given a gift such as these that have nasty attachments,
I place them within a Grid of particular stones that I personally select.
The ingredients of this grid are very guarded by yours truly...Btw. So don't even ask. ;)

Then they are placed within a bath of purified water and sea salt during a cloudless 24 hour cycle.
Just an hour before sunrise. Then I fill their respective containers with more sea salt
and place them in an area that is surrounded by a masters grid.

Grids are really simple to complicated in their constructs.

Start with some smudge.


I personally have used Sweet Grass....Sage and Palo Santo wood.

Sage the crap out of your area and place salt in the 4 corners of your most lived in space...And leave it be for at least 7-9 days.
(Impossible to do with a Jack Russell puppy that likes to eat your shorts! ;) ) But, you will have to try.

I'm not terribly privy to using the Pendulum....I see that @8thsinner has given you some great advice there!
Like Crystals, Pendulums are a highly personal choice as far as choosing which, so I recommend to just shut your eyes and
'FEEL' for the one that feels like it's a part of you....Synchronicity, you know. ;)

Well, you kind of are....Along with some help at times....Maybe....

I have had some very bad things go on with Ouija boards that made me lose sleep over,
of course, that was a very long time ago when my Sis was into seances and the like.

Really bad thing to try when the house you're performing them in
came with a prior, very large demonic attachment that nobody else knew was there.........

I lost the taste for them at a very young age.

Of course, I have already posted about my experiences here....So, no need to retread.

Just search here under demonic, one's bound to blow in. ;)

Yikes. I won’t mess with a ouija board. Heard way too many scary experiences. I’ll have to find my pendulum. Does it need to be cleansed or charged?

Definitely clean and charge it.
Everybody has their own opinion on how to do that but my preference is a soak in salt first, then an overnight in earth. Some people like the moon or sun to charge which is fine for crystals that won't change colour but the sun does do that to some of them so I just avoid it altogether. Burying it in earth gives it over to the element it came from in order to reset it so to me this is the best option.

My family is going to think I'm absolutely bonkers if I do that.
