But now it's been taken care of!
Great minds think alike...Only last week I ordered a new amateur radio transceiver (Walkie Talkie) which promptly turned up on Tuesday, to replace my 10 year old model that is still operational but lacking the keyboard facility that acts as a "dial up any country through the internet"...The new one is on the left of the picture below, if you hadn't already guessed

Most of the very early radio operators on board ships at sea were women, going back as far as 1910, and there are many licensed lady amateur radio operators on certain licensed only wavelengths/frequencies today
