Things were going really well, and I wanted them to go even better, and as a result, things fell apart catastrophically. Now it's all screwed up for probably the next month.

"Yeah.....I hate when the higher-ups get involved too."

It actually sounds like you work where I do!

Professional company....Cannot tell the difference between a Chamfer and a Countersink.

It's a metal fabrication shop.

I was taking a routine certification exam of sorts. It's broken down into four parts. Two of the parts have two options for how you want to complete them. I'd been practicing hard, and killed it on the first and second parts. I did even better than last time. Things were going great. I wanted to max out my score. On the third section there were two ways of doing it. I was used to method one, but people said method two was easy. Needless to say I should have stuck with method one. What's most frustrating is that while I actually have more than enough points to pass, in order to pass you must pass all four sections. I failed that one section, which I would have passed if it wasn't for me doing something differently from how I normally do. Now a bunch of people will be breathing down my neck for a while.

That sucks, man.

One of my rules of thumb......
Always go for what you know and are most comfortable with when you want results
and trust that inner instinct that makes you hesitate when trying something outside the box.

Our world moves the same speed every day.....But, humans?

This is me.......On any given workday.......

....Running late as usual.

Aww man thats frustrating alright.

BasicMOST Certification sounds like that. The bosses pay for your certification and you can’t follow through. There’s probably a variety of other certifications like the lean six sigma certifications.

Even us selfies can have it rough. We know that AI is coming. We just don’t know when. So the journey to that destination is up and down. This is Lapis. Our AI is named after it. I use them as leave behind with people that engage.
