Crime and Punishment

Here is the politically correct crime that Mr. Cuomo is charged with...

...and here is the real crime -- the one for which Mr. Cuomo will never be prosecuted.

Thus, a mass murderer will be brought before the law -- not for murder, but rather for being a dirty old man.

Oh, well. It's not the first time. They got Capone for tax evasion, after all.

Justice really is blind.

This is a little off topic and happened back in 1994.

Yes, Justice can be very blind indeed.

Let's take for example the day my neighbor came up to her side of the fence that surrounds my yard as I was doing yardwork.
I noticed that she was crying so, I stopped what I was doing to ask her what was wrong.

She told me how her young daughter (4 years of age) had found syringes in their yard which were quite possibly
from those whom lived at the end of the road, closest to the county road.
These neighbors were suspected of dealing methamphetamine and other things as well.
The non-stop, all night traffic to and from was very telling.

I tried to do something about it.

The police officer told me to purchase something from them and turn it into them immediately as proof.

The rub is.....I would also be immediately arrested for having an illegal substance on my person.
I would be made to appear in court for felony charges and face 6 months to a year in jail.
The charges would be reduced to 3 months and 6 additional months of community service provided I
entered into a plea bargain to expose the dealer/neighbor.

The felony would remain permanent.

(!!)

All for trying to rid my block of a drug problem that they already knew about.

Justice indeed.

Actually, the policeman who advised you could also be arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime.

More scum cops Windy, they are worse than most criminals!!

What about this ?:
If someone really thinks and especially praises about being powerful, just announce the people there (in Afghanistan) “you all are welcome to our land, come and you’ll be treated well, we will pay for your living until things settle down, then, whoever decides to go back, is free to do so”.
If that “someone” can and will do this, then he (they) is (are) indeed powerful and especially human … if not, then what is he (are they) doing and why is he (are they) there (as invaders) so many years already ???
I think this would be a viable strategy, as after some days (or weeks) it would be clear that whoever remained there is a taliban.
I also think that this is something on someone’s mind. If it turns out to be the case, then the current invaders can say “goodbye” forever to controlling anything in that region, because those who will come up with such (or similar) idea will know exactly what to do when in that territory there will be only talibans left (let us see who those will be).
Let us wait and watch (for some – learn) how the pros deal with situations like this.
There are compatriots of mine who went there and the “official” reason was “peacekeeping” but we all know they did this for money, as it seems they are well paid. Now they all run as hell and try by any means to get out of there and come back home. I wonder: when they were offered this “job”, weren’t they told that this could be one of the risks they might face? … I’m sure they were informed and it was their own choice to go there, so let me not hear again, any of them, complaining about anything – they are the invaders, which always implies (implied and will imply) a huge risk.
