Here in Sweden, we have to pay the same funeral tax no matter which religion one believes in. Even people accustomed to the Klingon culture of disposing the corpse in the most effecient manner, like how Russia dumped their dead soldiers in a junkyard to honor their barbaric customs. A standard funeral tax goes against the whole purpose of an efficient funeral. Where would the money go?

"It is only an empty shell now. Please treat it as such."

Klingon corpses are treated as empty shells.
Empty shells are used to serve fresh oysters.
Often with a splash of lemon juice.
Sometimes even a bit of tabasco.
Klingons are peculiar.

It's ironic that this was the 1st new thread I saw having just returned from attending an actual funeral
on the very same day. :alien:

Parallel universes....Colliding....??

"HIja' !!!"

(That's Klingon for Yes/No according to the net....And everyone knows, the net is all true! ;) )

Klingons are an under-stress civilization. Normal funerals don't involve the harshness of battle laid to rest. This is mythical. Earth ci customs show more respect of the passing of humans because more care is afforded humans than Klingon. Both the Klingon and Vulcan custom ways are inaccurate for some strange reason.

The Vulcan actually are based off of a real ET landing that associated with two sisters in the 1950s who made contact with beings resembling real Vulcans. They were lighthearted and felicitous which goes against the stoic modern interpretations of what a Vulcan should be. This illustration is held in web source information and the drawings were done in pen and ink.
