I thought I would throw this in here in case anyone was wondering if they could help out the poor victims of yet another natural disaster.

(Anyone else think Mother Earth might be getting a little irritated with us humans?)

This was posted today on CNN, I've included the links to each site. And BTW, CNN has also released that about 1/3 of the total killed were children. So please, help out if you can.

The quake was so massive, that they are estimated that it actually affected the Earth's rotation and shortened the day by 3 microseconds.

The scale of this tragedy is almost impossible to comprehend. Frankly, I'm having trouble turning on the news.

I don't think it could have changed Earths vibration, but I do think something big is happening, something that we won't realize until all the pieces are in place. Goes to show you the interconnectiveness of every thing.

This is a very horrible tragedy indeed. It is terribly sad that the major portion of the departed are young.

When Mother Nature speaks in this fashion, were are but a speck of dust on the hind quarters of a elephant.

I have often wondered the cost of removing all that oil from the ground. The fluid that is found in between joints, Sinovial Fluid, protects the joints and keeps the moving parts from destroying themselves during motion. I still wonder if there is some kind of connection to oil production and earth quakes.

And now a Rant, I heard a speach this morning by some United Nations PINHEAD
slighting the US in regards to being stingy. The US has given already some 15 Million in funds, Several Military flights of C130 full of aid type materiels, ect...

Doesn't this horse's ass realize that when it comes to aid for foreign countries that the US has been Jonny on the Spot for so long our shoes are worn thin running to the bank and back again??? Let's see just what the REST OF THE WORLD can come up with to help these poor people. Then we can talk. Until then, Besa Me Coolo Por Favor.

Cary was talking about a series of increasingly devastating natural disasters as far back as half a year; before the central american hurricanes. My chart of the events over the last year shows that if this phenomenon follows its currect trend of speed and direction, its 'epicentre' will be directly over the Gulf during mid-summer 2005; threatening the Black and Caspian seas as well as west coastal Europe, especially the British Isles.

This chart is completely theoretical, assuming both that the recent disasters do all have a common cause related to the poles, and that the line of disaster moving west around the world is speeding up.

CNN says (I know, I know - I'm a CNN junkie...I'm getting treatment ;)) that the WH has released that our total estimated figure for relief will skyrocket to around 1 billion. http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/12/28/...s.ap/index.html

Supposedly - it's moved the Nicobar Islands as well.

Looks like the Ring of Fire is heating up. Reports of a volcano in Russia cranking up yesterday.

Russian volcano erupts in Kamchatka

After the fun is over in the western Pacific (China, Japan, Russia, etc.) it should move over to Alaska, then down the western coast of the US than on to south America. This is just my speculation in that it looks as though the Ring of Fire is heating up in a counter clockwise pattern. Doesn't mean that the pattern will be followed precisely. We had strange earthquake in the Caribbean a couple of weeks ago. Let's hope the super volcano in Yellowstone National Park doesn't blow. Most of the US would be covered with volcanic ash if that happens. There's also a fault in western Tennessee that could cause problems for middle America. Think happy thoughts.

"Follow the money" seems applicable to authorities in Thailand. They knew about the earthquake at about 8am local time and decided against issuing a warning because it would cause an evacuation and hurt their economy. You can read more at the following link.

Thai newspaper documents government attempt to kill tsunami warning

Well, the tsunami certainly damaged their economy anyway. Too bad for the tourists and the locals who lost more than economic advantage.
