A recent report (23rd February 2011) published by World Breaking Discoveries (Australia) reviews the claim that ‘Ezekiel’s Wheels were a UFO’.
That report, in the form of a review & criticism of three such claims, includes that some researchers utilize 25 and up to 64 verses from the Book of Ezekiel (Old Testament) as their ‘evidence’ for their beliefs while one researcher only used 7 verses.
That latter author did not appreciate the review & criticism as it did not corroborate his claims, and heated words were delivered publicly to the writer of the article.
In the report the statements made regarding UFO interpretations of Ezekiel’s words - are compared to the original Hebrew meanings of some words along with the original context of the seven verses.
The initial conclusion stated (in part)
“…it shows cherry picking (ie. only using parts of verses/sentences), using unrelated verses as if they are describing the one 'event', verses and individual words taken out of context, and using an existing 'new age' theory to amalgamate with your other findings…”.
A second and third review of these comments was requested by the upset author, but the final judgement still brought forth a ‘NOT describing a UFO encounter’.
Other people joined in publicly, with one question being asked "I can't understand your reasoning that it's one 'machine'. No it's four machines".
So the reasoning was given which showed it was just ‘one wheel’ (and not four flying UFOs).
Also, the issue of whether 'the crystal above their head' being a canopy or an astronaut's helmet was addressed.
But the report did not end there. The question was asked…
“If Ezekiel's account is not about a UFO encounter, then to what does it refer ?”
An amazing explanation regarding time travel - was presented as the origin of Ezekiel’s encounter, where the perceived ‘angel’ was in fact a time traveller.
