Seems that so many of these odd things are just dismissed as being an Optical aberration.

I really don't think they are.

I had several personal sightings of them many years ago.

I'll post up what I saw later.

Any opinions or sightings, anyone?

I love to know too.

I've read (and heard) all the arguments against it being paranormal phenomenon but,
have yet to hear what the other side has to say.

I have only ever seen one that unexpectedly shows up flying around Robert Fripp while he was
performing the song 'Fracture' from Live in Mexico - Meltdown BluRay.

The length of motion blur relative to speed matches the typical exposure time of a global shutter nightvision camera. Security cameras usually don't have any infrared filter during night because they should also work in sunlight, so any visible light will also become visible. This could then be a firefly or similar glowing insect flapping its wings while flying fast.

I like the science explanation. But seeing is believing. In reality this bird is using its natural levitating ability.
