This is a repost because I figured out how to post specifically somewhere and I hope this is a okay place to post as I am relatively still "new" but here is what I posted in the Intros section....

I can't post anywhere else unless I'm just a little dense in the skull but i feel the need to ask a question of opinions....

As the populous voted for er umm... The lesser of 2 evils (or the evil itself), what are your takes on what could possibly happen?

I do believe if the other had won, we'd for sure be headed to war with Russia amongst other countries because sexism would come into play and they may see us having a woman as POTUS as a weakness which is, well just sexist.

But now, I kinda think we may have a civil war in our midst.

I think 2025 was just destined to be a "fight" either way but to what extent?

I am just curious, and please don't assume I voted because I didn't even vote.
I'm not here to complain about the elect or whatever but I am genuinely interested in others opinions.

Wasn't sure where to post this as I'm not making predictions but just viewing it open mindedly and kind of concerned either way.

Also, his comments/remarks about being a dictator on day 1.

How many think power is going to be abused beyond day 1?

I don't debate, just observe so if you'd like to debate haha you'd get no rebuttal from me.

Thanks for letting me ask these questions.

First ask, what is government? Boil it down: Government is control and government is force. It "should" be a framework of laws that we all can agree on and leave it at that to get on with our lives. But when one side sees it as a tool of pushing their own misguided agenda and views that most people don't want nor care about, it becomes a problem and government turns into a cult.

I've run across a couple interesting quotes over the past several months...

JFK: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

Lincoln: "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

Not too long after I turned 18 and started voting, I had an odd realization... It's not really who I'm voting for, it's who I'm voting against.

In the end, the deep state is in control of everything. You have the "big government heavy" party and the "big government light" party. The only difference is the speed we turn America into a dictatorship similar to China. A lot of people don't like this and are rejecting it.

As far as all the "hate Trump" endless rhetoric, I call BS. My university degree is in radio, TV, and film. (I minored in computer science and tend to follow those jobs more.) I've been professionally trained to be an industry insider, and I've rejected where it's going. I know propaganda when I see it. It's not that hard to identify...

The lamestream media throws out endless slander against Trump. For those who don't speak English as a first language, slander is NOT fact NOR truth. It becomes propaganda trying to glorify one political party over another... and the "others" must be evil because of some false argument. Why do they do this??? Because Trump is an outsider and doesn't play the big government game, therefore he must be stopped at all costs. This is how the deep state works. The ends justify the means... except they DON'T!

So a certain bloated political party claims Trump will abuse power and destroy democracy... when that same political party keeps wanting to pack the Supreme Court, end the Senate filibuster, and constantly uses the various federal law enforcement agencies against their political opponents (lawfare, highly illegal and scandalous). They want to do this because "they just know better" and "the ends justify the means" and "the people are just misguided and need to be properly redirected". If you've ever studied history, you'll know how wrong and evil this is. A few political elites are grabbing power at the expense of the people, violating their free will and choice.

So the lamestream media claims the world is coming to an end... again... because Trump is coming back into office... So I ask, has ANY of their accusations over the years actually come true??? (see "Chicken Little")

My political predictions for 2025: The lamestream media will holler, yell, scream, and slander more than they ever have before, and they'll make it sound like armageddon... Especially when DOGE starts recommending entire departments to cut. And we have 200-something departments, many of which are duplicate and useless, but they'll never admit to that. As the cult of government gets cut back, they probably will push for violence at some point. As a counter argument, it's been said that roughly 1/3 of our taxes paid into the government get pissed into the wind. For those who have trouble with math, that's over a TRILLION dollars. Why is that such a good thing??? Where could that TRILLION be put to better use??? It's past time for the government to live on a budget and start paying down this excessive debt we have... and many of us never wanted in the first place.

The only thing I've seen Trump do really wrong in the past couple months is trying to end birthright citizenship on his own. While I'm all for repealing this Constitutional Ammendment, the President doesn't have that kind of power. If you want to be a citizen of this country, then one of your parents needs to be a citizen of this country. It's like that for just about every other country on this planet.

(So how many days until this thread gets locked?)

I personally believe the president-elect is the worst of two evils. I will explain why in a minute.

I don’t think Russia and the US would directly go to war if Kamala was elected because nobody wants to start WW3. We are staying just below that point when it comes to Ukraine and other places for a reason, no matter what Russia says to try and make people afraid. If they attack the US, NATO gets involved and it would be bad for everyone involved and with what we know about Russias military based on their performance in Ukraine, they wouldn’t stand a chance against the US or many NATO countries.

As for civil war, people on this very site wanted it in the lead up to the election claiming the election was about to be stolen and they wouldn’t stand for it. Others talked about how civil war would be a natural reaction to losing the election. When we got the election result, those people said the civil war was delayed another 4 years as if this election didn’t just prove there was no major election fraud, and people just didn’t want their candidate until now.

I voted Democrat and due to the extremes the Republicans want to go to, for example Project 2025, among other things, I don’t think I’ll be voting Republican unless they get a lot of major changes which I just don’t see happening for the foreseeable future.

Trump %100 will be a dictator or will be as much of one as he can, beyond Day 1. Not only does he want to remove the 14th amendment, he is going to make sure the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor, lower the standard of education, tell a revisionist history where the US did nothing wrong to natives or the black community, make sure people can’t get the medical care they need without paying money most people don’t have, and so many other things that I could be here all day.

Now, as for why I think Trump is the worst evil between two candidates, there are many reasons. Let’s start with the worst things he’s done.

He is a rapist, racist, sexist, xenophobic, and generally awful person. He is a compulsive liar and has deep ties to Epstein such as records of him in flight logs on his plane and showing off their girls to each other. Trump even said Epstein liked his girls on the younger side. So even if Trump isn’t just as bad as him, he was aware of the mind of person Epstein was and still was his best friend.

90% of what Trump says he will do will just make things worse for a lot of people. Let’s start with the economy.

His mass deportations will ensure that millions of jobs in key places that people generally don’t want to do will increase prices of produce and other food items, such as things to do with farming and landscaping, among other things, and also gets rid of taxpayers that yes, do in fact pay taxes as undocumented illegal immigrants with jobs.

His tariffs will increase the prices other countries charge for products and services which means the American people are the ones paying for those tariffs, not other countries. And frankly the list goes on. I could literally be here all day explaining how bad Trump is as a person, and how bad he is for the country. But I think I’ll leave it here as it’s time for dinner. But I’ll probably come back here soon to talk with other people because it’s about time we had a serious and friendly political discussion here since typically it ends up not so friendly.

...and you just made my point.

And once again you attack me... proving my point... again... There's a big difference in calling for someone's execution and warning that war is coming. See my JFK quote.

He is a rapist, racist, sexist, xenophobic, and generally awful person.
Once again, slander and propaganda is NOT fact. If you're going to make these accusations, provide proof. Otherwise, that paragraph needs to be deleted by the moderator as gas lighting. So far I've never seen any evidence that Epstein was Trump's "best friend".

His mass deportations will ensure that millions of jobs in key places that people generally don’t want to do, such as things to do with farming and landscaping, among other things, and also gets rid of taxpayers that yes, do in fact pay taxes as undocumented illegal immigrants with jobs.
Those 10+ MILLION illegals aren't all doing jobs... in fact, most aren't. Have you even seen the news out of NYC and how many BILLIONS NYC tax payers are having to pay to house them??? On the federal level, they've costed us somewhere around $500 BILLION. For those who can't do math, that's about $3700 PER TAX PAYER. So how is this helping the people???

he is going to make sure the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor
Liberals always holler about this. Under Biden/Harris, the income gap got worse. Under Trump 2016, the poor actually got a large raise.

lower the standard of education
Closing down the Department of Education isn't a disaster. Rules go back to the states. And ACTUALLY, the liberals have been arguing for easier standardized testing and lower test scores for years now. Tell me how that increases the standard of education???

make sure people can’t get the medical care they need without paying money most people don’t have
WTF??? Have you ever been on obamacare??? My deductible is about to go back up to $8000 AGAIN!!! I haven't looked at my new premiums yet, but they're around $855 for this year. They'll probably go up another $100/month for next year. I was paying half that under Cigna. Bullshit tax subsidies will help with the premiums some, but they do NOTHING for deductibles. So fucking obamacare is supposed to help people??? When I was THROWN onto it, I LOST EVERY SINGLE DOCTOR I HAD!!! MY COSTS ARE OUT OF CONTROL!!! ...back stabbing lying liberals... I used to think my $2500 deductible was bad under Cigna, but THIS IS USELESS!!! You really don't want to have that argument with me. I can't get any of the specialists I need, and I'm just WAITING TO DIE NOW. You really don't want me to continue this paragraph. If you want to make the healthcare "argument", you'd better be damn careful about how you claim the "Affordable Healthcare Act" is so great. There's nothing "affordable" about it.

I think I'd better go take a walk...

And what point is that, exactly?

Explain how I attacked you. Because I most certainly did not. You didn’t just warn that war was coming you said something along the lines of it being the natural reaction to voter fraud. That’s support for a civil war dude. That’s not okay.

What do you want me to prove, you’ll have to be more specific. Aside from that everything I said is easily able to be looked up.

More are doing jobs than you are saying, that’s for sure. I’m eating dinner right now but I’ll try to find proof of it, but you could probably find it faster. Go ahead and post it if you do.

Trump did not in fact give the poor a raise. If he did I would be the first to know. I don’t even make 15k a year.

I haven’t been on Obama care but a lot of people are and there is nothing good to replace it right now. Taking it away will make things worse unless there is a suitable replacement. Every time Trump has been asked about his plan he doesn’t have anything but a concept of a plan. No real plan. I’m sorry to hear it’s hard for you, but the reality is that a lot of people depend on Obamacare right now.

If you have such a hard time with your health costs, do you support healthcare for all or not? If it were up to Dems your health costs would be nonexistent.

You definitely have many many valid points like I said I'm just here for friendly discussion I don't side with either I'm not political but as a citizen of the state I do have dental interest and honestly I just like getting perspectives from everybody and you honestly touched on a lot of valid points and I appreciate you for taking the time to respond...

I'm actually in the middle of dinner right now but I'm going to read some more of what's on the thread and I hope it doesn't get shut down but I'll be back for comment more if I see fit but thank you for your points and yes he is all those things and he's openly all those things and that's what I said how did he get put in the office anyways don't let me go back enjoy your dinner.

I've been professionally trained to be an industry insider, and I've rejected where it's going.

I honestly feel like being inevitable is for us to like collapse within ourselves and I do find it quite interesting that Lincoln was the one who has said that...

I'm trying to sift through these as I'm having dinner but I'm going to come back in a minute but yeah you also make some valid points as well like like I said this is supposed to be a friendly discussion and I hope nobody feels attacked I'm not very political but I'm of curious mind and I've always said that and things that I post them just a curious person and would like to see other people's point of views if we can keep it friendly but I don't know like I know there's pro Trump anti-trump and pro Camelot anti-camela things that are going to happen but it's good to get perspectives from each side...

I did respond to the post after yours before yours but he does touch on some valid points of how he is as a person but he's not denying any of that stuff really it's just blatantly out front and open so I don't mean to rough when he wants feathers or anything here but wait there are some things that are undeniably obvious I don't know anyways I'll be back in a moment.
