Hitler was genocidal and evil. Yahweh’s genocides are good; say Christians, Muslims & Jews! -- ?

Most evil people in history thought they themselves were fighting evil and that they were good.
There's exceptions but the vast majority of them probly saw it this way.

But sure good and evil are pretty much made up to a large extent.
There's definitely a lot more to things than just good and evil.
I think on a different level of reality however----good and evil do sort of quasi-exist.
You need BALANCE to get rid of true evil.

what is evil? define it and you will realize your mistake because once you define it you will realize it is only a definition of things

The OP compares the old testament Yahweh to Adolf Hitler
but that's exactly the difference right there.

I don't think genocide is EVER justified.
Vegans?

The thing about the topic though is I know the way this kind of thing works.
God is God. We are not.
Maybe not Gods per se, but aren't humans the least little bit devine?

Evil

Description
Description

Evil, in a general sense, is the opposite or absence of good. It can be an extremely broad concept, although in everyday usage is often used more narrowly to talk about profound wickedness.

That's from Wikipedia.
I would define it as anything that intentionally causes harm to innocence with no empathy,
regardless of what the evil person thinks he/she is doing.
