It would be neat if the military could fake the enemy by using holographic technology. I’m sure they are working on it.

Maybe an aircraft could project a hologram of blue sky below it making the craft not visible from the ground? Or other angles making it invisible?

Wasn't there some talk of this happening with 9/11 ? Maybe not quite the same as but sort of related i suppose.

Or a soldier on patrol at night. Can a hologram be darkness? Can you project darkness in front of you? Or if in daylight can you project diffusion causing a possible bluriness of the environment.

Other examples would be a navy ship projecting water above it to distort being seen from above like surveillance aircraft. Or a tank on the battlefield, could it project camouflage above it making it difficult to see it from attacking aircraft. Holographic Defense System. Sounds neat.

Whatever the system is for creating the hologram outside,
it would have to be quite strong to pierce through direct sunlight in order to be seen better
than the object being illuminated behind by Sol (our sun).

Plasma seemed the best but,
like the video more or less proclaims, this tech has a long way to go.
