Simple answer is "NO!" Math is a language. It appears the academic community has routinely altered this language to create whole generations of people incompetent in basic math skills. My own daughter can't even do simple addition and subtraction.
A one sentence thread ?
If you use a calculator, the math is always perfect, but if your calculator is not working…neither is the math.
