Debate Is physical time travel realistically possible?

As I have stated there I don't believe time travel is possible due to a variety of reasons, the main being that it's completely absurd. The idea of someone going back or forward in time just seems completely impossible to me.

You should temper your skepticism for two reasons.

First, we are all already traveling into the future.

Second, jumps into the future are being observed all the time in particle accelerators by way of extended existences for particles that only would only last a few nanoseconds, were it not for the incredible speeds they experience.

The latter is due to time dilation, a proven facet of extremely high velocity.
