These drones have standard flashing running lights that conform to FAA standards. The odds of them being military (or at least government controlled) is higher.
I haven't heard if these show up on radar or not. Something in the air bigger than several feet should have a return. These may use radar stealth technology, but that seems kinda silly if they also have their running lights on.
The thermal cameras not seeing them is very curious. Electric motors will give off heat, quite a bit if under load. There are ways of shielding this heat that can be somewhat easily done, but it isn't total. There will be a lesser thermal signature. Another way would be using Tesla's cold electricity. This would still need some shielding, but would be much harder for an IR camera to see. For a large drone to have any kind of real flight time and distance, it would need a massive battery pack. If using exotic energy, the power supply could be much smaller.
If someone has radio experience and the tools, it would help to do a frequency spectrum scan and see what frequencies pop up. If the drones are using military radio bands, that's another big clue. Do a directional search for a similar band and that might point to where the control center is... although they might be satellite controlled so this might not work.
The drones almost act like they're searching for something. Has anyone been following their flight paths and graphing them? If it shows a grid pattern, that would be obvious.
There's still the possibilty of a Christmas surprise. The government could come out and say they were looking for "something" and then proceeded to "take care of it" and all is well. The government could come out and finally give a false "disclosure". The government could finally do the false flag operation in "The War Of The Worlds (1938)" style and fake a major attack. Does anyone know if drones have been seen around Grovers Mill, NJ???
