Thanks for your contributions towards the cat videos....Here next is my useless contribution to todays useless information posting of mine :fp:
Back in the day was the Chelsea goalkeeping legend Peter Bonetti, who was affectionally known as "The Cat", because of his lightning reflexes while goal keeping....

He occasionally played for England, and in the 1970 World Cup Quarter-Final between England and West Germany, Bonetti had to quickly step in to replace Gordon Banks, the regular England goal keeper, who suffered an injury just hours before the game...

Two rare errors from Bonetti allowed West Germany to start a come back in the second half, after trailing 2 nil to England in the first half...Bonetti remained nervous throughout the match, and eventually West Germany won the game 3-2...Bonetti never played for England again.
