I will try to explain it using Bible verses.
Luke 17:29-30, 'As it was in the days of Lot, even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed',
God sent angels or messengers.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Angels will gather us. This is in the movie.

I believe the stars fall from heaven is nuclear missiles, heaven shaken the explosions.
Radioactive fallout creates the dark sun.

Thanks for explaining. Yes, I agree with everything you said about believing the stars falling are nuclear missiles, heavens shaken by explosives, radioactive fallout creates the dark sun. And in Ezekiel it describes the affects of a nuclear bomb killing people.

Looking at Matthew 24, this also sounds like a Post-Tribulation scenario (verse 31), however, I actually believe, because of other prophetic scripture, that the Rapture takes place either Pre-Trib or Mid-Tribulation...and this scenario in Verse 31 is not the first Rapture, but the gathering of the elect after the Apocalypse. Because scripture says that a multitude of people will be Saved (accept Jesus as their Lord) during the Tribulation Period, but before that Scripture also says that Believers of Christ will be spared from the wrath that is to come, the Great Tribulation. There's a whole lot of scripture addressing this.

I wish I knew how it will all take place, but whatever the scenario, it's definitely going to happen. It will be a frightfully scary and exciting time to be around for Believers, that's for sure!
