The last part mentioning the Empire killing rebel Padme at some point makes sense to me.

It's pretty clear that if she didn't die, she would have been a rebel leader and a prime target for the Empire. That would work for me.

I'm not so sure about Anakin joining the Space-Cirque-du-Soleil as an acrobatic performer! LOL
It was because of their genetic difference that killed Padme. Vader had super engineered human in him, plus the Emperor's gene. He also had Sith but I feel the Sith gene added was to make Anikin to become lord Vader heat tolerant. Remember this was a giant's system. Vader was some 12 foot in height.
