It turned out that after World War II, American intelligence services spent another decade searching for Hitler in Latin America. The CIA declassified documents in which one of their agents claimed not only to know where the Führer was hiding but also to have met him personally in Colombia. Moreover, he even sent the CIA a photo in which, according to him, they are pictured together.


According to this information, in 1955 Hitler allegedly moved to Argentina. However, after some time, the search was discontinued — further operations did not receive funding, and no concrete evidence proving that he had indeed survived was ever found.
