Are our futures dynamic or static?

Any time traveller would ask this question so I thought it is worth spending some time on. I am sure all of us know the grandfather paradox" If you go back in time and make sure your grandfather is effectively un able to reproduce then you will not exist thus unable to go back and alter time to begin with.

It is suggested that time will go into an infinite "loop" of you going back doing the deed and it just start over and over again. This will continue until you figure out "somehow" that ok this isn't working OR the world may just continue without you as suggested in the multi-verse theory OR everything just ends and we become part of a black-hole.

But the question still stands. if the multi-verse exist then every choice have its own world and that is a massive number considering that "not brushing your teeth to brushing your teeth will spawn a new world" that is epic and mathematically impossible to even compute. o_0

Imagine every choice that every life-form ever made spawning its own world. That is an infinite number and also note that every other choice they "the other worlds make" spawns even more worlds" If you are not following this post I don't blame you because it just seems impossible.

I mean sure space is big but to accommodate all that? But back to our future been written in stone... if this is true then alteration would be impossible BUT thanks to "dreams, feelings and choices made thanks to those dreams choices" it is possible that it just might be that our fate is written in stone. OR it is possible that the same dreams and choices that help made our choices is actively avoiding our fate. Again another paradox!!!!!

So regardless of what we think chances are we may well cause a paradox "if we haven't already". That said... Here is a question "what is the chances that we exist outside the laws of time travel" What if the rules doesn't apply to us?

Consider for a moment that for us to exist or anything to exist in the worlds of "odds" or the likelihood of a thing occurring as they do is staggering and it is against us! not for us... according to "most maths" not all but most... Example; it is like We "as everything is now" won the lottery consistently for billions of years in a row.

luck? Nah I don't think so. If anything any time traveller well tell you our existence is a perfectly geared process. Don't think so go touch a wall and remember it is solid because millions of spinning atoms in it make it appear as if it is solid.

Touch your own face an know that what you touch is a construct of energy and yet you are a physical being. Strange no?

It is truly amazing if you think about it. Even more so if you consider that ALL OF US have a part in it!!! :cool:

In the hypothesis you're talking about, it's actually far worse than you state here.

What I mean is it's not just choices, it's every quantum event that creates a multitude of new universes as well.

However, there is that possibility that all these "new" universes already existed prior to the choice or the event, and simply were the universes where those choices or events were destined to happen.

Consider this if every quantum event spawns its own event then some-where someone must have succeeded in a quantum neutralization process that will revert all things to a none material none active state "aka empty space"

Because if every quantum event spawns an event than all things that can exist will exist that includes an event that will destroy us and every variation of us in a moment. So "if" the multi-verse theory was indeed right then by its very definition we cannot exist.

There's a problem with the idea that all things that can exist will exist. It's not mathematically defensible.

That is to say that an infinite number of possibilities need not include every imaginable possibility to be infinite. Simply put, infinity minus one still equals infinity.

To put a finer point on it, look at the number line. We know by definition that the number of positive integers is infinite. This infinite set contains not a single negative number. Hence every possibility is not covered, but the set in question is still infinite.

Taking it even further, the set of ALL integers is the same size as the set of all positive integers. The set of all rational numbers, which contains the set of all integers, is also that same size.

Lastly, there are an infinite number more irrational numbers between the integers one and two on the number line than there are integers on the entire number line.

Just because an infinite number of possibilities might exist, that in no way indicates that all possibilities would then exist.

By the same definition you don't need an infinite factor to extrapolate. Reality is, it is impossible to say what a specific person will do. But we can say with absolute certainty what an "average person" will do.

The reality is history have a tendency to repeat itself, sometimes exponentially and sometimes epically. We started off with sharp sticks and stones we ended up with a force of nature that can effectively end life.

Now it is by no stretch of the imagination that someone somewhere may well develop a device that can effectively revert energy to its neutral state. How can I say this? Simple we already created one force of nature so it is mathematically probable. Thus the factor of "infinity minus one" becomes irrelevant simply due to the fact that we started off with sticks and stones and ended up with a force of nature.

So on average as science and innovation does produce an "epic event" at least once every thousand years. Documented as fact where were humanity 3000 years ago? and where are we today? Could today be imagined 3000 years ago?

The reality it took "an event" to create the singularity so by its very definition "an event" as random and as improbable as it can destroy it. Why? Because it happened once before. And once you quantify "probability" you know as well as I do the math becomes downright scary.

So the multi--verse is "infinite minus one" event that can naturalise all atoms. Then by that same logic and definition we shouldn't be here because the singularity happened by the same math "infinite minus one"

so if the one is true "we are here" then the other surly "may well happen" UNLESS the multi-verse isn't connected "yet" that can also be a active factor.
