Time Travel Objects

What if you could only send objects through time instead of living things because living things would die. So maybe you can find an object from the future just the same way as you would find an object from the past.
 
While you could send some cash in a time capsule and hope that someone in the future reads your note and sends something back in time, the cash would most likely be expired once it arrives. If you send gold instead, they will probably just take it and laugh at you.

You could turn that into a time travel game where you send something and the person who finds it has to send you something back. Wow that sounds awesome!

Unless the gold-sharing individual vexed the gold with a curse making the 'finder' responsible
for carrying out their desire(s).
