Without additional comment? That's a bit confining.

However, do I believe that they believe? Yes. I believe that Pamela and Florida Jim believe that their world(s) were changed and they were dropped into another universe where Burger Kings disappeared and and logos changed. In that sense I believe their stories.

Now, placing the response into the terms as proffered by Titorite, I'd have to convince them, against their belief, that the Email Experiment was a joke. A snarky response. (And actually a snarky response is a lie - a reference to a nonexistent animal - if you're mathematician Charles L. Dodgson.)

This story has meaning! Whats the story about the two Burger joints (I will say it like that) Titor's wishes
were to protect his family on this worldline! Think Sammy will be a good writer if the story breaks before the war!

So again, whats up with the burger king story? Anybody?

But what is the importance, in Titor's telling the story, of protecting "his family" on this or any other particular "worldline"? He said that they are infinite. He said that all allowable outcomes will be played out. The act of "saving" his family results in a probability wave where an infinite number of "his family" on other worldlines are not saved. Even without his actions, his family is not saved on an infinite number of worldlines. (And I'm using the term "worldlines" in the loose sense of the Internet and not as defined by Minkowski).

Pamela really didn't like that definition. Boy, she flipped out when I posed, in Titor's terms, the fact that on an infinite number of worlds she revealed his secrets, on an infinite number of worlds she murdered him and on another infinite number of worlds he murdered her. Infinite solutions using allowed probabilities is infinite - and it includes the aforementioned three possible outcomes. She was pissed, to say the least. She wanted to believe Titor but she also wanted to believe in determinism. Titor's macro-world ideas about quantum mechanics were not at all appealing to her. So she, as did many others, picked and chose what parts of QM to believe and ignored the rest of the theory.

But QM is QM and that was Titor's specific message. If quantum physics and quantum reality dictate that all allowable outcomes, as defined by the probability wave, will occur in some universe then they will occur - infinitely. It makes no difference what action one takes. The allowable outcomes occur and the action to prevent the outcomes only serves to create new probabiliy waves and universes. That one happens to be in a universe where the outcome matches the desired outcome is a random event. Individuals have no control over the outcome.

Is that the desired (or actual) state of "reality" - even if it is how Titor defined it in loose terms of Everett-Wheeler theory?
 
However many worldlines or possibilities there are, we are all responsible for our actions and will be judged accordingly by God (or redeemed if we have accepted Jesus as our personal Savior.)

You misquoted me. I said "with or without additional comment".

Darby, your comment is disrespectful towards Pamela. You have harassed her for 11 years. You need to lay off these attacks against Titor believers. You behave as one who has no compassion for others. You should focus on another subject unrelated to Titor and leave the believers alone. You truly are obsessed with harassing Titor believers.

Ok Charlie, I’ll tell you the story and you let me know if you can see a way that I would remember the previous time-line without having personally traveled:

As John prepared to “depart” in March, 2001 he offered to send emails on our behalf to ourselves in 2036 or 1998 (where he purported to be stopping on his way back to 1975 before returning to 2036). I chose to send an email to 1998 understanding, from John’s description, that the email would not actually arrive on this worldline’s 1998 but an alternate worldline’s 1998. The email contained personal photos, details of events in my life from 1998 to 2001 and financial information such as winning lottery numbers and stock market statistics for those three years.

Several weeks after sending that email, I had a sequence of powerful deja vus that were different from anything I’d ever experienced before. After that, I began to notice subtle but distinct changes in my reality. A store appeared out of nowhere on a road I travel all the time yet my wife believed it to have been there “all along.” Burger King changed their corporate logo overnight but again, my wife remembered it just being that way. I saw a “new” television show that I remembered seeing before but it ended differently than the version I had seen. Little details added up to a definite change in my reality.

I wasn’t the only one to experience such changes. Other people who sent John their emails had similarly bizarre experiences. It was frightening and fascinating.

In late January of this year I had another day of powerful deja vus. This time, I knew exactly what it was because of my experience in 2001. That day, I drove up a road in the afternoon and passed an empty field. That same evening I drove past that previously empty field and found a furniture store on that spot. I found out later it had been there for years from everyone else’s perspective but, for me, it materialized out of thin air. Again, I kept finding subtle little changes in my reality.

Is it a coincidence that we sent John emails for the past and experienced such things? Is it a coincidence that the person calling himself “Ardon Krep” and claiming to be a time-traveler and a student of John’s was here when I experienced that second day of reality changing deja vus?

I was just explaining to someone Darby! Where I live, Im between two towns. In 2000 the other towns had Burger Kings. They closed in late 2000 because the claimed they were not making money. Today one of the old stores is a SONIC. The redesign is amazing you couldnt believe it was a Burger King. The other one is a restruant. Interesting!
