ahh so ur not a gnostic..ur an athiest.
scientism humper.
No.

Religiously speaking, just a good Christian. There are few of us.

We are also a cut above atheists, but they have almost caught up and will outlive Christianity with their new Atheist Churches and Mystery schools.

All while Christianity dies due to modernization.

Check the stats as the tipping point is long past.

They both have a God of the Gaps.

Science and the secular laws has made their cases and only the more dim now turn to some immoral god for either miracles or good law.

Christianity won't die out just get rebooted.
however most reboot attempts just fail.

like in the hellenestic period(when alexander the great took over egypt he was greek) a merger between greek philosophies and mythologies merged with egyptian schools of thought and mythology.

back then about 300BC before the roman empire was founded, people both worshipped normal ordinary secular religions but also had mystery schools. They were way more tolerant of both ideas. Religion is about myths, and practicing rituals. The 'mysteries' were about myths, rituals but then experiencing the divine directly and then creating new myths and rituals and practicing them. They'd then repeat.

Mystery schools weren't really schools. No curriculum like today but rather a series of meditative practices. They'd experience the divine and then created new myths, new rituals and then did it again and again...getting more and more info from the divine directly. is origin of gnosticism. Pursuit of knowledge.

People tolerated both.

our society is moving towards tolerating both again.
however there's pitfalls cuz people are so messed up today mentally and emotionally they get deceived a lot by negative entities absolutely everywhere in the astral.

so there's some benefit to rejecting all untraditional ideas and sticking with secular religion.
it's definitely a minefield.

since most people aren't particularly ethical or have serious discipline and self control...I'd say secular religion fits them well. For others that want more..there's stuff elsewhere.

so organized religion with all it's errors and pitfalls...still has a major positive role in society.

alchemy says the same...they always chose a single student one at a time to pass along the alchemy secrets cuz vast majority aren't ethical to handle them with responsibility. They'd make the student take a vow of secrecy.

nobody wants a repeat of atlantis

Many things were better before the literal reading of myths by Christianity.

They helped usher in the 1,000 year dark ages.

Good for Muslims that. It almost gave them all of Europe.

I like to tolerate, as I enjoy diversity, but do not tolerate the intolerant Christians and Muslims.
