It makes me so happy to know Captain James T. Kirk finally made it to space, there is a sense of completion knowing this, and I am sure for him!

William's expressiveness during the first back on land interview is what got to me.
He's in tears telling us how fragile it all appeared to him.
How small our existence seems and what keeps our existence intact
when compared to the vastness of space, seeing it all for the first time.

Coming from one of our most iconic Sci-Fi actors at 90 years old.
Imho....He just became legendary, again.
He apparently loved it. You can't blame him. It would really put things into perspective. Earth is just a pale blue dot in the universe and we are tiny ants that can't even get along.
