Like I said, that’s just a pessimistic take. There are friends in politics and like I already said, there’s no point arguing it because you clearly won’t change your mind.

You say that, but his people have been talking about getting him a third term. If he can get that, he can get more. Just because other counties have nukes doesn’t mean Trump won’t ignore that and start a war anyway. He’s already threatened to do it. Multiple times. This is yet another pessimistic take, assuming only the worst people can get elected. We got close with a good candidate before, but the Dems shut him out even though he was popular. Regardless of the problems both parties have, one is clearly worse than the other and one of them is more open to positive change, being the Democrats.

I’m glad you got out, but not everyone can. It’s not as easy as it sounds. I literally can’t because nowhere will accept a person from another country who needs disability to survive, I’ve checked. I have nothing to offer. I’m a “leech”, as I’ve been called for simply existing and being unable to work.

I barely make enough to get by with multiple roommates. I wouldnt call it enjoying anything, but I survive. And that’s not true for all of them, but even if it was, so what? How many things your tax dollars go to actually affect you personally? That’s not what taxes are for. People have to pay taxes to contribute to their society that sustains them, not for their own personal gain. Honestly… if we just stopped paying for things we didn’t want or wouldn’t get access to, society would collapse.

Miracles aren’t always obvious. I’d say plenty of things he has done are miraculous. He’s brainwashed millions of people around the world, for one. As for not being as evil as Hitler, he most certainly is. Right now he’s just deporting “undesirables” but when he starts invading other countries, or maybe even before then, he will escalate it. Eventually even El Salvador will stop accepting deportations from the US and then what? Plus it’s only a matter of time before he starts imprisoning his opposition. At that point, what’s to stop him from killing everyone he doesn’t want around? It’s just one small step away from what he’s doing now considering the evil things he’s done in the past. He’ll show himself as the Antichrist eventually, enough for everyone to see it. I don’t know how they don’t already.

I am a grown ass man capable of taking care of myself, and I made it a point in my adult life to attempt to detach myself from society as much as possible. In any case, while you survive, many people in their 20s and 30s are not surviving. The nebulous society you talk about is totally failing them. Not that you care. You got yours, right? What's your plan to save them from an endless stream of dead end minimum wage jobs, and ever worsening working conditions? Can you fix the fact that wages haven't increased since the 70s? Or that more and more people are living paycheck to paycheck? Or that even the crappy jobs are often filled by imported slave labor? Do you not find it suspicious that despite both Democrats and Republicans winning elections since forever none of these problems actually go away, and continually get worse? Even if society doesn’t sustain you anymore, you wouldn’t be where you are without it. You didn’t just start off separate from society, and if you did, your very much in the minority and if the rest of society collapses, you are still going to face problems, like no internet for example. You can live on your little farm or whatever and ignore the state of the world, but that doesn’t mean it won’t collapse if people don’t support it. For starters, we need to raise minimum wage to $15 or more an hour, but even that probably isn’t enough these days. In my state the lowest pay I’ve seen is $14 an hour, not counting servers who get tips. The rest of the country needs to catch up and if we got the right candidate it would. However the main reason nothing has changed in that regard is because no party had had control of everything for a long time, until Trump. And it shows, because he is just doing whatever he wants with no opposition. If we had a Democrat and they had no opposition, things would be so much better than they’ve been in the past and that is a fact. Give Bernie Sanders full control of the government and he’ll get more done than Trump has in the same amount of time, just good stuff instead of bad stuff. Are you saying I shouldn’t want to save others just because my life isn’t perfect? That’s not a good outlook on life at all. Society and communities on a smaller scale all rely on helping each other. That’s a simple fact of civilization.
