Hmm... I don't think this is entirely random gibberish. I think that it could be better seen as a grand entry.
Setting himself up for something. Unorthodox and probably a bad gamble for the hoaxer (and therefore could be construed as being positive for the hoaxer if run properly). If it isn't a hoax than the question is what is it?
I have a few theories....
  1. It is automatic from a program that is designed to give us information we requested within whatever parameters are set for. Mayhaps the article specifically referencing "The Machine" set it off and it had a web crawler as a trigger for the messages. This could explain the weird numbers. It could be some kind of method for the computer to self reference itself by looking for certain keys. He said that he ran an OS that built from scratch and therefore alien to anything we have, so who knows? "I'm a doctor, not an IT specialist" -Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy;)
  2. He's trying to make it look like the above^ because either he is trying to make himself seem distant... or because he's insane... or both...
  3. It's not for us.
  4. His account is compromised.
As for the subject of the messages, there seems to be some consistent points to it. The pages linked have to do with discussed subject matter on this thread.
  • "The Machine" is probably linked because it describes what he talked about and he called it the "The Device" a difference that could be explained by the way he said it was an Apple product rather than HP. He may be offering it as proof.
  • He spoke of subatomic alteration of atoms. I would say that a binuclear atom would be a significant alteration. It could mean whole new branches of chemistry (another thing he spoke about.) The fermionic charge carriers and whatnot seem to be in the same line.
  • Chimeras... He mentioned their existence. I don't get the significance. I expect we'll learn more...
  • Cyborgs. I don't remember much about that, but he seems focused on "natural born" cyborgs... mayhaps he is thinking of cybernetic chimeras.
  • One of his links to a Stanford University .pdf, however the link takes you back to the link that is above it. I assume that is a mistake. So, I put the link into the bar and it didn't seem to work, but it carries the name of two physicists (ghominejad-savan) who seem to be known for work regarding the EPR (Einstein, Podolski, and Rosen) paradox and quantum teleportation. I assume this gets placed with the TT link.
Now, let me explain why I came to my first theory and my process to the conclusion.
  • There are a few things that don't change or change very little. That would be the format at and the term "crosseightcm end."
  • The numbers all seem to show a progression. The most significant, I think, is the one in the { }. It stands out to me. "{MDR1-3}." At first I thought Medical Dr. probably because I'm in school for that, but that is off.
  • It seemed to be begging for a human response, but a very specific one. Why would it otherwise ask for a response when so many people already responded?
  • It seems to have been triggered and now has a correlated date. "EST 11:05:32:17" ... November 5th, 32nd hour, 17 minute. That doesn't seem to work, unless it is meant that it is really the 6th and 8 hours away in timezone. This seems off. But I am certain that it correlates to a date and my whole line of reasoning comes from that.
  • The numbers at the bottom may be an authentication system like on WoW.
  • I think crosseightcm end is a commandline, but Paradox, that is a genius acronym.
  • in the phrase "32991692 {MDR3} crosseightcm end" I think the "32991692" is coded identity for a computer to find a file. I think the "{MDR3}" is a variable that is labeled by the "MDR" to make a distinction between messages. I think the crosseightcm is a distinct command and that the reading function of the program would signify that the program stops caring about what is written underneath.
  • ^that gives the authentication about 24 hours to be authenticated and is replaced the next day. Possibly as a second layer to security for something.
Like I said, I think he is setting himself up for a grand reentry to the forums ... ... so maybe he does want us to go nuts over it...:cautious:

I think the line EST 11:05:32:17 correlates to when he'll truly reappear. Waiting... it's fun on a bun.

I probably just wasted 30 minutes of my life on this haha lulz

Interesting stuff. It's an automated response most likely, programmed time-capsule if you wish. Have been able to download ghominejad-savan file. Replace 2%F with / . (Regarding other links etc.) If I'm reading correctly someone is trying to create Humanzee. Too tired and too little time to find more. I speculate that four letter/number ending is some code with programming meaning. Try looking through NCBI.

Maybe I could shed a little light on the recent transactions? Specifically, it is an emergency protocol. A system restart of sorts. And Aevi is indeed playing with you. Why wouldn't a time traveler play with his experiments?
The files? Nice gestures pointing to his world.

Well, lol, at the moment I don't mind being played for NOW, it's interesting to see where this goes. Some other people may have other opinions regarding this. So Travelyan, which pieces you hold?, what do you know?
